I loved writing songs about the world, events, etc... This was written about the China original when the students protested by in the '80s
I could have mentioned every country in the world in this song, but there is only so much one can say in 3 minutes... everywhere equally is in this 'vibrational energy' lacks the love of another.
DIFFERENT GENERATION- we are here now, the 2012 vibrational energy is moving us together towards the 'levitation of love.
My co-writer Tony and I spent 8 years writing songs and were successful in Japan with the teen idols, and publishing deals with BMG Music and others... Misc songs here and there in movies, background, commercials... it was fun time, I made great money in my store, and was able to play at writing songs. I wasn't trained as a musician, but sung the melodies often for most of my own songs, and then Tony would write around them, or he would write a track of music, and I would instantly download the song, theme, energy and words just flowed.
I also worked with other composers who gave me tracks of music... or gave them lyrics... I will do more one day, it's not my focus right at this moment, it's what I call another chapter in life and do want to include some of the 50 or more I have in films, or write new ones in the near future...
HIROKO journey started in my designer fashion store on Melrose Avenue, 'A New Kid In Town.' While she was shopping I played her father 'Meet me at Midnight' and he instantly wanted to record this song. This lead to an additional nine songs being recorded on her debut album, named after another one of my lyrics - ONE IN A MILLION. She was very popular as a teen idol, and wonderful talent for a young 16-year-old.
Hiroko was and still is a wonderful memory and experience.
