The Universal Laws of Attraction and
Gossip Girl

A show like the Gossip Girl gets high rating, and the Universal Laws of Attraction brings in it's many viewers, the pre-teen, the older teen, all of them devoted fans and my daughter is one of them. I was the opposite. To me it's a show where every second line is a negative, spiteful, and hurtful one, not to mention the under-age drinking, and their endless sexual partners. I know, as a teen, this is an exciting time for them. They are experiencing and developing their own GOD given sexual energy both physically and mentally... and I know I can't take that away from any teen, or control those feeling and thoughts. It just isn't possible.

So I sat myself down on the couch next to my daughter and tried to have the same excitement as we watched it together. I know, if I'm going to be one of those parents who wants to live the Law of Attraction principle, it doesn't SERVE ME to put my daughter and her choices down, EVER! If this show brings her joy, I have to go for it and work around how this show can benefit her in other uplifting ways.

It was actually a great way to discuss why in reality these characters wouldn't create anything for themselves. They would be attracting energies that vibrate that same negative exchange. The 'like attracts like' energy.

So instead of sitting sit there and wishing you could turn it off. Find one thing that you can connect to in a joyful way. It might be the characters clothing, or someones' great smile, or a cute guy, or great music, or that rare good deed within the story line.

Use these shows as a way to chat to YOUR kids.

Teach them that in REALITY, you wouldn't manifest any of your dreams acting like some of these characters. the Law of Attraction is still working but in the opposite way.

Teach them that GOSSIP, never hurts the person that people are gossiping about, it only ever hurts the people that are doing the GOSSIPING.

Teach your kids this valuable information, 'if someone says something hurtful about you, they are depleting their OWN ENERGY.

Teach your kids to believe in themselves, to like who they are. Their kindness, their appreciation of others, and their respect of others choices. The COMPLIMENTS they give to others, is a huge source of positive energy, not like GOSSIP, which is a drainer of energy. Numerous rewards will be received from these kinds of positive energy exchanges.
